Residence Rules

Booking:

After the booking of the accommodation and period you will receive a booking confirmation/invoice. The deposit of 50% payment must be made within 14 days to us. This deposit will be deducted from the total amount.
On receiving of this deposit to our account the reservation is final and you agree to the Residence Rules.


Number of persons per stay:

The holiday accommodation is suitable and equipped for 4 people. We mean all persons, including children and babies. The permitted number of persons should not be exceeded. It is not allowed to stay in the holiday accommodation with more than the indicated number of persons in the booking, not even if you one or more spare beds. At an offense the booking agreement can be terminated with immediate effect, without right to compensation


Energy costs:

We think it’s good for you to know exactly what is at cost and we do not charge extra for the amount of energy consumed. (the cost for: gas, water, electricity and heating).
But we do ask you to think about the environment as well, please be thoughtful of your energy consumption! Don’t leave windows open if the heating is on and turn down the heating if you leave the resort.


Final cleaning:

With your booking the cost for final cleaning are also included. This consists of cleaning the entire holiday stay, including the inventory.


Parking in Domburg:

Since May 2005 you’re only allowed to park in the residential streets of Domburg with a parking permit, which only the inhabitants of Domburg can purchase. We offer this licence to our guests for free. This parking permit must be issued at your departure.


Smoking:

It is not allowed to smoke in the accommodation. At an offense the booking agreement can be terminated with immediate effect, without right to compensation.


Wishes and complaints:

Despite us trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible, it is possible that you have a desire or a complaint. If so, please report directly to us. Together we can then see how we can come to a solution.


Work in progress:

It may happen that there is work in progress in the immediate vicinity of the holiday accommodation, like road works or (re) construction activities. In this case we can not accept any responsibility or liability for any inconvenience this may cause.


Dogs:

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the resort. At an offense the booking agreement can be terminated with immediate effect, without right to compensation.


Young people:

We only rent our holiday accommodation to adults or young adults at the age of 23 or older.


Cancellation:

It may be that you have to cancel your booking. Although we find that annoying for you, we apply the following rules:

  1. you must phone to report Cancellations a.s.a.p. and then confirm by registered letter to enclose the booking confirmation.
  2. in case of cancellation up to three months before the start date of the rental period, 15% of the rental amount will be charged.
  3. in case of cancellation between 3 months and one month before the start date of the rental period, 50% of the rental amount will be charged.
  4. in case of cancellation less than one month before the start date of the rental period, 100% of the rental amount will be charged.
